This is how I would fix the American Economy
Dear Mr. Obama – President of the USA
These suggestions should fix your economic problem if followed correctly. This package will cost you 400 million dollars only.
You will need to pick 39 million working families who earn $35,000.00 per year or less. Pay them each $1 million a piece with these stipulations:
1) They leave their jobs. Thirty Ninety million job openings - Unemployment Fixed.
2) They buy NEW American cars. Thirty Ninety million cars ordered - Auto Industry Fixed.
3) They either buy a house or pay off their mortgage- Housing Crisis Fixed.
Send me One million dollars for fixing your problem.
All this and it's still cheaper than the "bailout"... all for a mere 400 Million

Sounds like a plan to me!
I have heard but not read - That for the cost of his bailout - we could all go a year without taxes! This would rock!!! I did read that those bastards in congress that passed the bailout plans got kickbacks for their campaign funds from the major bailout players who benefitted from the bailout such as AIG. Now I am cranky... must get a bowl of strawberries with vanilla ice cream.
Dear Hit 40 - Try lots of chocolate. Or martinis...
OMG. That is exactely what I put in an email that I recently sent to the white house.
Oh yes I did. I further stipulated that half of the Senate should be laid off and forced to become more productive with less resources...like the rest of us.
hee hee
I'm gonna give you an award as soon as I figure out how to do it.
You need to run for office!
I like your thinkin!
I think you might be brilliant! I mean, seriously?! Why not? There's no proof that what they've already done would work, and in an odd sort of way, this kinda makes sense!
WOO HOO!
I love it, great idea!
Hi Seeker...sorry, the programmer/math nerd side of me is coming out now. :) You missed a few zeros somewhere...399 million times 1 million is $399 TRILLION dollars. I don't think there's that much wealth on the planet. However, there aren't 399 million working familes in the US either, so it's all good. Now, even if we change this to 4 million working familes at 1 million each, that's still 4 TRILLION dollars. Ouch. I'll go back to eating Cheetos and twinkies now. ;)
Why is it that us little folk seem to come up with the real solutions.
